Currently, we store a secure, second copy of our customers’ data in our Amazon S3 cloud storage account. Amazon storage is extremely reliable and scalable, which is why we’ve partnered with them for so long. Some customers appreciate the ease of having storage services bundled with their backup package. Larger organizations, who have a considerable amount of data in the cloud, desire more control and data ownership. Welcome “Bring Your Own Storage.”
With the “Bring Your Own Storage” model, Backupify will provide support for many data storage providers. With universal storage cloud provider support, Backupify is addressing enterprise organizations’ needs for enhanced data security, privacy, control and access.
